Matthew Hawtin: Dimensions

RED  Gallery, Minus & {ourhistory}, with support from Ontario Arts Council Pres:  Matthew Hawtin.  A one off London solo exhibition of this ground breaking Canadian artist. The exhibition will showcase work from 1993 to the present that was produced in conjunction with the world famous record labels Plus 8 and Minus, owned by the legendary Richie Hawtin. Original paintings, prints and sculpture will be shown that highlight their working collaboration over the years and give a unique insight into their relationship within the history of electronic music. Elements of repetition, symmetry, colour, textures and reduction are explored within the artwork of Matthew Hawtin, ideas that run parallel with the development and progression in the music releases of Plus 8 and Minus.

For the month of February the Berlin based music label M-nus takes over the Red Gallery Dimensions .. a solo art exhibition by Matthew Hawtin and on Feb Friday the 24th Gaiser presents VOID LIVE.
