The Nasty is a new documentary movie about the life and art of T Kid 170 one of the best graffiti artist from New York City's golden era of subway graffiti. Carly Starr and Co. Have captured the life and art of this master of graffiti style in such vivid detail using archival footage and the personal films of Julius Cavero himself from the 1970's till the present day.
This riveting account of the life of one of the greatest legends of graffiti "WILD STYLE" is a must see for any enthusiast of graffiti or streetart as well as an invaluable reference for scholars on the subject. The opinion of many whom have seen this masterpiece in previews have herald it as the best film on the subject since 1983's seminal "Style Wars". The movie will be shown in Paris and in London at its two premiere official showings in Europe at the start of The Nasty T Kid 170 World tour. First showing in France at Street Art festival on June 3 2016 then in London, UK on June 10th at The Red Gallery followed by an Art Show by T Kid 170, Ivory TM7, Part TDS, and Sonic Bad inc.

This film uses nearly 30 years worth of archived footage and T-Kid's never before seen home movies, a very rare glimpse into the world of subway graffiti. Follow T-Kid into train yards all over the world and through his trials and tribulations, arrests, addiction, violence, love & triumphs. Follow the story of one man's rise to becoming a legend and witness the story of someone who came from the bottom to write his name on the top.

Graffiti Artist from the Bronx!
Started his career in 1973 as a street tagger for the neighborhood gang. Writing King13 Bronx Enchanters. Later Sen102 Renegades of Harlem.
After getting shot in 1977 he became Tkid170 and started his career as a notorious graffiti vandal Becoming king of many lines on the I.R.T`s
After going Legit Tkid was part of some major shows, Gallery's and collections. Starting with being part of the Sam Esses collection in 1979.He painted with all the major players of that time. Tkid was there when future was testing a can on the floor and stumbled on his signature super skinny line circles. he was part of Fashion Moda`s (Bronx) exhibition in 1980 where the Sidney Janice Gallery asked him to be part of their world wide exhibition. He was in the groundbreaking PS1 show where Photos of his subway trains where exhibited with such greats as SOMO aka Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring and Lee Quinones. He was part of the Common ground display that introduce The Rock Steady crew to the world and shortly thereafter the movement was given the title Hip Hop! His Subway Graffiti was in the Ok Harris graffiti picture exhibition.
Tkid has been bought by collectors such as Gunter Sachs who buy his work as well as selling his art in auction houses such as Southebys UK, Artcurial Paris, Pillip du Puree & co New York. Tkid has exhibited all over the world including Beijing China and Johannesburg South Africa. He was a Character in Marc Ecko`s Video Game 'Getting Up Contents under Pressure" Today Tkid Travels the world exhibiting his Graffiti art and giving lectures on positive expression through Graffiti art
